Do you love what you do?

Its a tough choice for young people these days to decide what to do with their lives, especially when they have options that seem so hard to sallow. When i say young people, i mean any one with a young mind. You can be 50 and your life just got started. 

Hey, Mr or Mrs or Ms am 50 years old and too old to start any thing, what happens if you die at 95 years? What will you be doing for the extra 45 years?

For all ages and types you will still have to make a living. Most times i refer to people who are entrepreneurs or work with the mind set of a business owner. Its the only path to real freedom in a society that really doesn't have a social security system. Even if it does, you can never compare to the power of freedom you have as a business owner.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying those running a job are not happy, and business owners have the all the time in the world to play about. NO!

Iam saying comparing both is like two guys walk into a all you can eat for same price ($50) restaurant and pick two different meals from the menu. Person A picks a full American break fast with extras and sides  and Person B says "get me a bowl of corn flakes, that's all". They will both pay $50 for their meal.

During the meal, Person B keeps commenting "oh i like the bacon on your plate, wow, the eggs look nice sunny side up, hey is that goat cheese". All the while drinking his bowl of corn flakes which was his//her "choice". 

Person A response with "oh yea , it taste great, hope you're enjoying your flakes though. You can have the same meal for the same price". Person B says "oh i'm on a diet, oh i'm watching my weight, oh i think i should just eat healthy". All the while still wishing they had the full course. 

Where i'm i going with this?

If you are happy with what you have or what you're doing, you won't notice others.

Find something you love and turn it to a business.

The 'love' of what you do is what will keep you going when sales drop, when accidents happen, when fire and floods happen and its also the 'love' of what you do that makes you innovate and change with the times to remain relevant. 

Your love for cooking, dancing, going to the beach, gambling, reading, watching sports, looking good, listening to music can all become a business because for every habit you have , you have some people on this planet paying to participate in that habit. 

The companies with the most unexpected growth are companies offering odd services. Pet care, make up artist, video game repairers, wall paper designers, DJs, in house cooking service, tourist guides, small chops providers, baby items, dance clubs, and for religious people, its bakeries and oil mills that make the communion and anointing oils you use.

You never see them coming till they make so much money for you to notice. 

This picture was taken in my office on a Saturday. The match was on, parties where happening, but i was in the office. We didn't make billions, yet, but you have to love your work for you to leave all the pleasures Saturday gives to take a picture as nice as this.
